I have been diagnosed with multiple ployps in my Gall Bladder, one of them is almost .76 cm in length.?

I have been diagnosed with multiple polyps in my gall bladder, one of them is almost 0.76 cm in length. Doctor advised me to remove the gall bladder. Is it the only option? or what is the risk factor of it? Pls suggest.
